The Pride Resource Network is donating basic supply care packages to the LGBT Rain Foundation. The initiative was created to help provide LGBT youth with essentials during the holiday season. The campaigning in New Jersey and online platforms will start from December 10th through December 23rd, 2020.
LGBT Rain Foundation is a nonprofit organization in East Orange, New Jersey. They provide shelter services to address the need for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) individuals experiencing crisis leading to homelessness.
An initiative that means a lot to The Pride Resource Network, “our mission is to help other nonprofits organizations. And vital to partner with those who share the same core values as ours,” says Sunita Devi, President of The Pride Resource Network.
Ultimately, there’s a need for winter clothing. However, here some items to consider are too:
- PPE
- Toothbrushes
- Toothpaste
- Brushes/Combs
- Soap
- Shampoo/Conditioner
- Washcloths
- Towels
- Cleaning Supplies (bleach, paper towels, detergent, etc.)
- Bottled Water
- Underwear
- Socks
